"Raiders" 20th anniversary

This is just an idea I had thought up.
Wouldn't it be cool if Lucas implemented some digital technology and re-released "Raiders" to theaters in 3-D as a celebration?
I was just watching the show, and I thought with some of those camera angles, it almost seems as if it WAS intended for 3-D.
Just wondering what you guys would think about this idea.
