Sallah 4?

I've seen several posts regarding if Sallah should appear in Indy 4, or how he should be portrayed. I don't think he should appear in the film, for the simple fact that it would mean Indy would have to go back to the same desert locales to find him. (Sallah never struck me as much of a world traveller.)

It would also be too coincidental to have Indy run into him in 3 out of 4 films, when he always seemed to be an old friend that Indy did not get to see that often.
