Well, actually, they're out there, but not on action figures. All current Barbie's have had the covered joint articulated legs for years, but they're pretty expensive to make, as it's a heavy vinyl stretched over the joint, making it resemble a real limb. Guess they didn't figure an "action figure" to be worth the extra cost or effort. Regards. Michaelson
