: : There was a scene written, and filmed with a young Nazi Soldier who is ordered to execute Sallah for the help he provided Indy....But he ends up letting Sallah go, as he can't do it.It was very highly praised as a very emotional scene, as the young soldier was played by a German guy (with no previous acting experience) who was on holiday, and, along with a couple of his friends, was tapped as extras. Unfortunately, the scene was edited out from the final cut. HOWEVER, he is still listed in the credits.
