It's a matter of taste, but it does make it easier to pose the figure, especially on all those playsets. The thing that always got me on the Kenner figs is the butt - the characters all look like they're wearing thongs!

: Is it just me? Don't articulated knees looks like the action figure was in a terrible double-amputation accident, and they had to give him replacements? Why hasn't action figure technology advanced to a state where the knees don't have these conspicuous bolts going through them?
