: : I do appreciate the responses but . . . (there's the but) I'm not saying that I think Harry is or isn't to old to play Indy. I was just throwing a fun (hoped to be fun) question of if you HAD to choose (like 'Sophie's Choice') between getting rid of Harrison or the outfit, which would it be?
: : Again, IF you had to choose Indiana Jones played by Harrison Ford but he had to wear a different getup or someone else playing Indy but he could still wear the feodora, jacket, those unexplainable colored pants, etc. what would you choose?

: Ah, well, that sort of reminds me of the studio that made that Lone Ranger movie. They kept the mask, and tossed Clayton Moore, and look what happened to THAT fiasco. But then, different time, different icon. Regards. Michaelson

And now that I think about it, it just can't be done without Ford in the hat and jacket. This isn't like James Bond, who was a literary character before Sean Connery took on the role in the 1960s. There was a lot of hoopla whenever they changed the actor who played him. Indiana Jones was created with Harrison Ford in the minds of the creators.

So I guess I'd have to change my answer to no answer.

I'll take that root canal next....
