I think they're what make the shirt look great. Too bad the freakin' $90 authentic one is the only safari-type shirt I've found with them.

: : : I'm trying to replicate the shirt. Are the pleats that run down the front functional pleats, or are they sewn to the body at the edges and just there for looks? Looking at the way the edges of them are wrinkled in 'Raiders' it seems they are sewn to the body, as this is the same characteristic taken on by the button hole facing after you wash a cotton shirt a few times. Input is greatly appreciated!
