: If you watch really close I believe Indy being thrown through the windshield was an accident. I think the soldier was trying to bash Indy's head into the dashboard and missed. Ridiculous, maybe. But, watch the soldier's face REAL close; for just a moment there's a look of absoloute shock, then a huge smile as he realizes the this, too, has potential for dispatching our hero. Just a thought :)
