Lucas vs Speilberg

I'm sure this question has been asked before . . .
Do you think that there's a jealousy thing goin' on with Lucas concerning his directing ability compared to Speilberg. Let's face it, George was outta the game to long and it showed in his last SW effort. I'm sure he doesn't want Indy overshadowing his prequels and I don't blame him but for a special release of 'American Graffiti' (great movie) to make it to the stores before Indy, c'mon. I know they released a half-assed set last year but that was just a way to market 'The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.' I don't have so much of a problem with that but give us some cut scenes, screen tests, behind the lens shots or something. To cut to the chase, maybe he just doesn't want to be reminded that SS is the better director and the true genius behind IJ. I'm not a Lucas basher and think that he is a very talented man, just maybe like Sinatra shoulda seen long before he did, it's over. Time to find other ways to express yourself. Producing seems to be his strength.
