: : Noel Howard's strap is a very good strap after a liberal application or two of Pecards on the back side. It comes unfinished on the rear, and it's prettty dry and stiff. Pecards makes it very supple, and a desirable strap. I've never seen Lee's strap, but have handled his holster, whip holder and whip he sells, and if the strap is anything like them in quality, then it's top drawer all the way, and he's located in California, so you have a better chance of getting it much faster than Noel's version.
