Not really. The predistressed leather Peter uses has that "crackle" look to simulate age. We saw a lot of that in the '80s. It is not quit a pattern but the texture is even which gives it away as being manufactured or artificial. You can apply Pecards to it and it improves the look, but a new lambskin will age differently. The natural wear and scuffs have a logic. What I mean is, the wear will not be even. The seems and edges will show the greatest amount of wear and loss of color providing highlights to the jacket, giving it that "action" look as in the movie. A predistressed does not have highlights because the it is evenly distressed. Only through wear or by what I call "aging" will it have highlights. The highlights make the difference.
