I'd suggest you drop Ron a line and voice your concern, if you haven't already. I'm sure he'd be open to any input you would have to offer him, considering you were one of the original crew who got the ball rolling with HatsDirect regarding this type of fedora in the Akrubra Campdraft/Bushman line. Concerning the snap brim, the Miller is only one I've ever experienced with that type of "atomic flange", so maybe it won't be that deep, but one never knows. High regards. Michaelson
