: : It is, indeed, a very good factory distressing job. The cowhide leather has a lot of character and the jacket is quite lightweight, unlike the Cowhide VIP version. Actually, I don't have the "Old Leather" Indy Jacket, but I do have the A-2 version, which is made from the very same leather. Very nice overall!

Here is the address to see the Old cowhide Indy jacket. The REALLY neat thing about this jacket is that you can work in distress in reverse. The distressed areas are already there, all you have to do is lightly add Pecards leather dressing to the areas you want to return to the darker brown, and you're there! No further damaging a new jacket, the work is already done for you. You just add the color BACK to the areas you want! neat concept! Regards. Michaelson
