Most will agree with your view. Indy and Henry would have needed to stay behind the seal to enjoy eternal life. Naturally, this would have made for a rather annoying scenario. Can you imagine the constant griping? Maybe they could have made Elsa have a sip, but then again, that wouldn't have improved the situation. Maybe the old Templar would have been happy to have some company... ;)

: A Friend of mine have a dispute about the current immortality of Indy and his father. My friend thinks that because Indy and his dad drank from the grail the are now immortal forever, I think that the immortality from the grail was only effective behind the seal. Please help us settle this, I'm sure you have answered this question before but we are deadlocked.
