..then begged my grandfather to part with his brown fedora that same year, so I guess the 'hobby' part has been with me for 20 years, too.

I also remember that that summer I sent away for a cheap 10 ft bullwhip from the Johnson Smith Catalog, and when it arrived, I promptly whacked myself in the face with it and left a couple of small welts... still have that whip, but I may decide to finally get a 'real' one this year.

Still have the novel, Illustrated Screenplay, storybook, vinyl LP. Didn't get many of the Kenner toys (only the 12" Han Solo redress), but I did turn my 3.75" Bespin Han Solo into Indy for a while.
