River played young Indy a lot better, he was serious, had the scowl, the dry cool wit, and the personality. Sean Patrick is wussy, looks nothing like Ford, and from the commercials I've seen, makes Indy look like a total joke. And all fairness, I don't see the character of Indiana Jones really saying "Snakes Alive, Nancy, they've got guns"
I think Indy would probably say "Great, they've got guns" or say the same line, but darker, more serious. River would probably agree, had he not got stupid and did drugs. Mr. Phoenix, you've gone and left us with a sniveling weasle....thanks....
