:Oh yes there were Flying wings in Germany at the time, but not that thing in the movie. Shocks, i can't remember the last name of two brothers that did research on tha all wing design. They built several gliders. Somebody built a jet powered plane too. Check out a book called "Winged Wonders"
: P.S. On April 2 20th Centry Fox has obtain the Prequel Rights to Star Wars.

: : I'm certainly no expert, but from what it says in the "From Star Wars to Indiana Jones" book it sounds like the wing in Raiders was a fake plane - and not based exactly on any one real plane, either! I'll type it all in when I have the chance... (I know, I know...)
