I wrote to wested and asked them a couple of questions and they responded. They said the distressed version jackets are now predistressed before the tanning of the leather so the jacket appears worn but is actually new. Peter said this is now being done with their jackets through another place. Wested doesn't use the dryer with pebbles method anymore.Take care,
