: : : Hello all,
: : : I recently purchased a Raiders jacket from Wested Leather. I have to say that the jacket is incredible, just as everyone on the forum had written.
: : : My problem is that because of my rapid weight loss, the jacket did not fit me when it arrived. No fault of Wested, to be sure. I've talked to three tailors so far, and all were unwilling to alter the jacket.
: : : I would like to sell the jacket to someone who will appreciate it (read 'Indy fan') and whom it will fit (It's a non distressed 44r). It's absolutely brand new in looks and rich leather smell, never worn, just tried on a few times to curse my luck. I paid $294 plus $29 shipping. I'll accept any reasonable offer for the jacket.
: : : I know this isn't a Buying/Selling/Trading forum, so I hope you will all indulge me this one time.
: : : Regards,

: : Curse the luck, Ron, I hate this. I know what it's like to wait for this item, so you have my COMPLETE sympathy on this. Well, let the frenzy begin. Looks like the price has gone up, though. I ordered the exact same size and style, and tax, tag, customs and title cost me $275 after the smoke cleared. I sure hope you get one that fits next round. Congrat, by the way, on the weight loss, that is, if it was planned. Just an after thought, have you tried contacting Mr. Botwright and seeing if there is anything HE can do, such as alter or trade? Best of luck to you. Regards. Michaelson
: To be of any help, i do know wested does alterations to their jackets. If i were you i would contact wested and tell them your problem. Hope this could help.
I totally agree with G.J.R., contact Wested how ever you can regarding the alteration. I'd sure hate to see you have to give up on this one before you've explored all your options completely. That is unless you just want to sell the jacket, then that's another whole different ball game. Regards. Michaelson
