The tone of an email is hard to read. If people thought you were kidding they (we) would not have responded thus. Thats why you often
see (grins) in these posts so the tone is known to be humerous and not serious. And I dont think it's a high school thing, in general the response was to the violent braggadocio (sp?).Flash. And I believe it's spelled facetious.
