If the jacket is new or has led a pampered life it's most likely that just bled some excess dye. Some leathers are heavily dyed to even out inconsistencies in the grain/texture. It probably will have no effect on the jacket. At the most, this spot may be just a tad less shinier than the rest of the jacket. A bit of conditioner will even that out.
