: : Hi,
: : A few questions for you:
: : 1)what do you like AND dislike about the current US Wings "Indy" offerings?
: : 2)does the bi-swing/pleat function better than Wested's?
: : 3)the pics advertised show the side straps higher on the goatskin (newer pattern)---is this the case?
: : 4)how is the sizing? for the sedentary adventurer?
: : Thanks for your input.

: As it appears this has been beaten to death by the time I read this post, but Patterson and I have conversed about our Old Cowhide Indies, and it appears to be the "most correct" of any of David Hacks' Indy jackets to date, in terms of strap placement, leather placement, jacket length, and over all fit. Of the three I've had the pleasure to own, the nicest one I have is the VIP, my favorite is the Old Cowhide, and it's hanging next to me as I write this. Regards. Michaelson

A few of the details seem to have been taken care of on the Old Cowhide version (which I have not let out of my site since receiving). The fit is more trim, the torso slightly shorter, the straps moved a bit higher. All in all - this one raised the bar as far as my favorite goes.

Hope this helps - cheers!

Patterson
