I've mentioned this before for the new Old Cowhide Wings offering, but you may want to consider the Scotch Gard for leather treatment, or any waterproofing for dry tanned leather (if it is indeed suede), because after a good application of product, it won't matter what the weather is, you've water and stain proofed the jacket against any elements.
