Has anyone listened to the Clash Tribute album "Burning
London"? I suppose not. :P

Anyway, as graml could tell you, the Clash were a late 70s/early
80s punk/ska group who knew how to freak out on the stage. As
well as No Doubt and Mighty Mighty Bosstones appearing in the
tribute album, Ice Cube and Mack 10 did an awesome
cover version of the song "Should I Stay or Should I Go" complete
with a nice Indiana Jones reference (I hear he's some
sort of archeologist...)!

As Mack 10 was busting down on a solo, he said: "I'm
feeling for the mike like a Jones with Indiana!
" This was
followed by Ice Cube yelling "Indiana!" in the background. This
was a very moving experience for me. ;)

Also, has anyone here read the book "Travels" by Michael
Crichton? GREAT book, and yes, it too has an Indy reference.
The whole book is a fascinating journey of Michael Crichton's
globetrotting adventures around the world. In one of the later
chapters, Crichton is spending a week with a tribe in New
Guinea, and a tribesman is telling Crichton of a recent movie he
saw. The movie is centered around the main hero, "Hindy" and
his battle with snakes. "Hindy" hates snakes and in the "climax"
of the movie he is forced into a room with many snakes which he
all triumphantly kills. The rest of the movie leads up to this,
according to the tribesman.

It may not sound funny as I'm typing it out, but it's hilarious in the
book. I highly reccomend it!
