This probably isn't one, intentionally, but it popped in my head.
Anyway, when Dad scares the birds in the air we get the same "in the piolet winshield view" as he is crashing....the same view as we get in the final scene in Star Wars, when some X-Wings get taken out.

I know...weak.
I'll keep thinking.
