I bought a 7 footer target bullwhip from him as well (Peter Jack).
Sounds similar to yours :) I ordered a 12 plait, but he gave me a
16 plait because of the wait. Mine cracks really well, and is easy
to control. The whip is gorgeous in it's plaiting, and is more
elaborate in the handle detail than the Indy whips. The other thing
is the leather is comparably thin, making for a sleeker whip.

: Hey everyone...

: I rec'd my new Bullwhip from a fella in NZ today, goes by the name of The Whip Man, and I have to say that this is one of the best bullwhips I have ever seen/owned!!

: It's a 16 plait, 7 footer, with the fall rounds out to about 11 ft or so...

: I haven't had much of a chance to break it in yet, but I was out in the front yard for a few today getting it loosened up....

: What's cool is how light this thing is compared to my other, cheaper whips!! No more huffing and puffing after throwing a whip about thirty or so times!!

: AND, I can do that cool overhead crack Indy does in the marketplace brawl scene...I reallly couldn't before, without swinging my whip all the way around my body, since they are heavy, and just plain fly wrong.

: This guy has earned a customer for life.....but it's too bad that he raised his prices from the last time I ordered...means I can order about half the whips I probably would have!!

: Anyway, I just wanted to share that with you all...

: Later,

: Indiana Jimmie
