I've noticed that before, too. Last night I really tried to listen to it. While it might be just a grunt, it kind of like he waas saying something like, "Gotta hold on" or something to that effect. Who knows? Its more logical if Indy just grunts, but then why would that scene always have that 'voice' whenever they air it on tv? Some of the other sound effects are more prominent, too (not just in Raiders) like when Indy gets thrown through the front window of the truck, the glass-braking sounds were REALLY much louder than on my tapes. Hope this helps.

: I own the 14 year old VHS. That version does not have what I am asking about. As Indy is hooking the himself to the truck while underneath...he mtters something. What is he saying? This is not on the old tapes.
