I have to fully agree with Michaelson's assessment of what a "favorite" movie is....based on that criteria, here are a few that come to mind:
1-The Godfather movies
2-ANY old western with Clint Eastwood in it
3-The Star Wars series
4-The Hunt for Red October (despite the fact that Alec Baldwin plays Jack Ryan)
5-The Usual Suspects
6-The Dirty Harry movies (I'm a big Clint Eastwood fan)
7-Any movie with Leslie Neilson-Especially the Airplane movies and the Naked Gun movies
8-Full Moon in Blue Water (an older Gene Hackman movie)
9-Apocalypse Now (I saw that earlier and I thought...cool, someone else loves that movie)
10-Strange as it may seem, I always HAVE to watch the movie Seven with Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman. I know, it is a sick and disturbing movie...it's just so...intense...

Just a few...I KNOW I could rattle off 2 dozen more..
Later ya'll

: I usually rate a "favorite" as to being one that, no matter how often it's on, you tend to find yourself sitting down and watching it every time, and enjoying it as much as the time before. I can think of a few like that, but other than the trilogy, I really can only think of the Back to the Future trilogy as fitting that bill at the moment. I'm sure there's others, but none immediately pop into my mind that fit that criteria. Regards. Michaelson

: : Say you're flippin' channels on your TV, you come across a film that you recognize and either stop and watch for a while, or stop all other activity and watch all the way through.

: : What are those films?
