: : These focus on the Old Cow jacket at different angles, AND a surprise appearance from my Indiana Miller-which doesn't get much wearing time these days! I LOVE that PB !!!

: : Enjoy!

: It looks like the action pleat is deep enough to stay put. Is there elastic inside the lining? Can you tell if the pleat panel is stiffer(re-inforced)? Maybe this isn't necessary on the cowhide and just done on the lambskin. Thanks for all the great pics.

If there is any elastic anywhere, I cannot tell it! Peter's post on the changes he was making said the pleat would be reinforced, but with what, I don't know! I am feeling around on the inside of the jacket now, and from what I feel, it feels like there may be just a strip of leather (most likely the same leather that the jacket is made from-it is very flexible) in there along the pleat....but that is about all I can tell. I never felt around in there before, so I don't really know what to look for. Whatever it is, it is undetectable! Perhaps it is just the deepening of the pleat that is making it work! At any rate, it stays closed when at rest and opens when it in action!
And it doesn't seem "stiff" either....I do not think it is elastic....that is about all I can tell without knowing what to look for.
Does that answer your question? I hope so!
Later, man!
