Chrome Vs Veg

I've been reading of late on the Flightsuits leathers and I have decided on the goat for my Expedition as well (I agree with West (?) in wanting a light jacket and thus going for a lighter leather). I'm also confused on whether to go with the Veg or the chrome goat. I like the dark color of the chrome but also like the "authentic" color of the veg. What are the major differences in the strength, etc of the two different goats?
