They're pretty lightweight--mid-range, actually. Just remember, since you're concerned that the LL Bean is too tan, Noel Howard's are also. I was surprised when I got them, especially the "Raiders" shirt, which I had alwasy thought was ivory or off-white.

One question though...is the NH shirt a "summer" shirt with a light material like it appears in the Trilogy?

: : I have both Noel Howard shirts. Sorry, but I don't have pictures. However, the Raiders shirt has the right color buttons. The Temple/Crusade shirt has the darker ones. I stand by my earlier post, the Noel Howard shirt is dead on. Nothing comes remotely close. How can it, when nobody else puts the pleats down through the pockets?
