I didn't measure, but I would guess it's about 2 cups of bleach to the bucket (y'know...the lrg white ones that sheetrock mud comes in). I was a bit worried at first, but I found that if you keep the water/bleach moving and agitated, the shirt will lighten completely evenly. (Mix the water & bleach before putting the shirt in) The LL Bean is a good shirt...it can take it...even with strong concentrations of bleach, it only lightens it a little bit in each half hour session. I just did it again today, and I must say, it's rapidly approaching a much much better color.
