Indy doesnt die he lives to be an old one eyed guy telling stories about his life (NM)

: Anyway, in ROTLC, when the old guy is talking about the staff of Ra we see Indy's hat. First a side view with the ribbon-it looks just like mine!. At the end of the scene when you see the fan spinning and the dead monkey we see Indy's hat and looks a little like a tear drop crown-probally becuase it's bashed.
