Gun laws, specifically handgun laws, vary from state to state and even city to city. Your best bet would be to first find out what laws are in place in your state and what permits you might need to acquire to get your desired revolvers or pistols. The NRA web site will be able to help you research these laws.
As far as finding the guns, your best bet would be to try your local gun dealer(s). Find a reputable dealer within driving distance and tell them what you exactly what you are looking for including what you are willing to pay. They may be able to locate exactly what you want. Gun shows are also an excellent source for used firearms and the NRA web site should point you toward what shows may be coming to your state. Be very careful of attending "out of state" gun shows, as purchasing a weapon and bringing it across the state line may land you in much trouble.
There is a magazine called "Shotgun News " that is available at some better newsstands and online. It is the largest gun sales publication going and usually contains thousand of firearms new/old of every make and description. Unless you have a Federal Firearms Dealer License, the only way the publication would be of use to you would be through your local dealer. If you find what you are looking for in the Shotgun News you can ask your local dealer to order it for you or sometimes just receive it for you depending on state laws.
Please be very careful and take some training courses if you are unfamiliar with the operation of firearms.

Doctor
