I apologize in advance if this is graphically intensive, but I did
the standard from, back, side, side pleat shots too, side by side
with my lambskin Last Crusade Wested for kicks:








Not really a fair comparison, since they're different designs, and
different leathers. As for my impression of the Flightsuits, it
certainly has a great Indy look to it, right off the bat! When I
opened up my Wested, it took me a few days to like it. I like
the substance of the goatskin, although I know it doesn't have the
same effect lambskin does for achieving all that Harrison's jacket
did (in the way it drapes, and flies around in fight scenes). I was
a little disappointed in the unevenness of stitches, especially on
the straps of the Expedition, however. I was expecting top notch
quality, and deviations in the straightness of the seams while slight, are still noticeable. The pointy end of my pleat straps are
practically unravelling. I can show scans of what I mean, if people
are interested. The brightness of the zipper stands out as well. But
all in all, I'm very happy with the way the jacket looks, and I'm
looking forward to seeing it after the leather breaks in!
