I think you'll be ok with just the single treatment. As Doc pointed out, though, it does build up to a really great protection for the leather, but with continuous use. I put an extremely heavy coating of dressing on my deerskin FS jacket, and had the same results you have with your lambskin, but did so under advice of Dave Marshall of FS itself. I thought it would NEVEr soak in, but did the same thing I just advised to you. The jacket is now just as soft as the day it arrived, but has been in more than one rain storm, and the water beads up on it like it were made of rubber, so it can be buffed down without messing up the surface of the leather. I just wouldn't advise you doing it again. Regards. Michaelson
