Do you mean that the chicago screw is sort of like two regular screws that screw into each other manually, except with no slot for the screwdriver, or am I getting it all wrong?

I just don't understand how those screws from the URL you gave me (which look like regular hardware screws) can be fastened to the bag strap.

Also, I have Noel's strap and I don't see how they can be unscrewed.

: A chicago screw is nothing like a Philadelphia lay. Anyways. It's a screw with a flat head slot, that fits into the nut, which is similarly shaped, with no slot. You can see examples in the following link:

: The look similar to the rivets on Noel's bag (but not countersunk), and can be unscrewed to remove the strap.
