Dickhead,

You have no idea what the hell you're talking about. Unlike the overly-hyped "Titanic", "Ryan" refrained from sugar-coating one of the most horrific events of our time (unlike "Titanic", which turned a real-life tragedy into a teen idol farce). The battle scenes are not for the squeamish, it's true, but then again, war itself is not for the squeamish. Director Steven Speilberg has truly outdone himself this time, and if those soldiers who gave their lives so you could be here (and now you're disgracing them by putting down a film that honors them), you most certainly owe it to yourself and them to viwe the movie and endure the nightmares. This is a film that should stick with you forever, not because of the performances by teen idols, but because of it's truth and sadness. You sound like an asshole in your post on how "Ryan" was terrible when you openly admit that you haven't seen it. I'll bet your grandfather war veteran would appreciate this film if he saw it. Get your stories straight, fag.
