I had a pair of these, beautiful boots, with layered cork soles, but
they go quite high up the ankle and the leather was very stiff (on me).
But they were beautiful, and they are a period style boot that's more
authentic than most anything else out there. They were very comfortable,
other than on the back of my ankles. You limeage may vary.
