I went with their product description, which stated the width, but you're right, they do look like they would be narrower. I'll be interested in what you think when yours arrive. Regards. Michaelson


: Actually judging from the pictures, they do look like they were made on a narrower last (I'm a bit of a shoe freak). I've just ordered them, so I'll let you know. Incidentally, the Alden's were my first piece of Indy gear. That's probably quite unorthadox for most.

: : : Stacey Adams makes a boot called the Madison in Kid Skin. They have lots of colors to boot (no pun intended) and they're around 100 bucks. Now they don't have a Neoprene/Cork soles nor the mock toe of the Aldens, but, they do seem to have a nice retro Indyish look to them and a goodyear welt that sticks out.
