: Maybe I was a bit harsh on the Wested. The lambskin was flimsy and the jacket basically would not stand up to much wear and tear. As a fashion piece it is fine. Just out of curiosity, why are you buying a second one?

I gained a few extra pounds over the last couple years and my first
Wested seems just a bit snug (must have shrunk in the wash) :-)

I do, however, wear my Wested just about everywhere and do just about
everything in it, including outdoor work (e.g., trimming tree limbs,
tearing down a an old wooden shed, etc). While it has received a
good number of scratches, nicks, and such, it has held up surprisingly
well and looks more "distressed" than damaged. I would, however,
give the nod to the Expedition for continued hard work use.
