I dyed the ribbon in about a quart of hot water and one envelope of RIT dark brown and 3/4 envelope black to achieve a more "Raiders" look. This type of Petersham was not the actual kind used on the "Raiders" fedora, but it is faithful to the period. It is the type used on the "Temple of Doom" and "Last Crusade" fedoras. The Judith M Petersham is roughly the same color as the "Last Crusade" ribbon.
