Got the new Engineer Boots from LLBean Today

They look good and authentic in my taste. The leather is rough and this is a great boot for substiution of Aldens. They are well worth the money.
From a side view they look great! I mean almost exactly. Only problem i see is that instead of having a semi square toe like the Aldens, these have a rounded toe. But still, they look like boot you would have seen someone wearing during the period 1935-1940. The maker, chippewa, has been making boots before that time so I believe I made a good descion.
