Katanga didn't mail the jacket and hat to Indy, he simply turned them over to Sallah when he returned. Sallah has a whole closet full of Indy's clothes already. Luckily for Indy, none of it fits Sallah who has been on a diet ever since he has seen Indy's spiffy jacket... ;)
