The jacket in the Smithsonian is a LC.

The jacket examined had no tag, but had a slip of paper in the inside pocket, with some writing - being only partly legible - that appeared to confirm what Peter said it might.

The jacket had the property tags from Lucasfilms and Paramount, tracing it to the studio. After the fact, the bill of sale was located.

I've copied these posts and sent them to legal counsel. They've recommended not discussing the matter further, as they are fairly convinced a few of you are not what you represent - legally. LOL! Who would have thought it would come to this? Anyway, I'm leaving these specifics to Flight Suits and Wested to haggle over.

IN MY OPINION, THE FLIGHTSUITS JACKET IS SUPERIOR. That is my opinion, and I have no profit motive to protect. If you want to play cat and mouse, leave me out!
