Selective hearing? (grins) Other than the obvious "it's in the script", I guess the best "explaination" would be the angle from which the two Germans came from in relationship to the revolving pusher props of the plane. From the rear of the plane, maybe the pilot couldn't hear the man yell, but from the angle the bald German came from, specifically more to the side, the frequency of his voice was at a level over the revolving prop that the pilot COULD hear him. All conjecture, though. Regards. Michaelson
