Alden color

Here's something interesting. I ordered some Aldens last week and they
came to me in two days. They were a little narrow so I sent them back.
The guy at the Alden shop in San Francisco said that the next size
wider would have to come from back east. Well I got them today (I love
them by the way), and I noticed they were more brown, darker, and less
orange than the ones I got last week. I wonder if this pair is older
or newer than the pair I got last week. I like the boots in either
shade, but I noticed some fans were complaining about the shade of the
more "recent" boots. If you are going to order a pair, you might want
to inquire. On a semi unrelated topic here is a link to a company that
sells Blundstone boots cheaper than any I have seen. I own 5 pairs and
can not say enough good things about them. They're not Indy boots, but
they're rugged and cool looking just the same. Paradise Footwear gives
excellent service. I gotta plug
