I toured lovely Colombia last year for a couple of months. I don't recommend it, though it's a beautiful place with beautiful people. It's every bit as violent as you hear it is, and then some. I wore my first pair of Aldens and my first Wested all over the place. I didn't have a good Indy hat then but I could've used it; Bogota sits at 8,600 feet elevation and the sun was intense. All in all, it was an interesting trip but not one that should be taken for leisure travel.
