Well, if you wear say from 7 1/8 to 7 3/8, I would go with the 5 5/8 open crown height. Height at front of pinch 4 5/8, the same in back. Brim size, 2 3/4 x 2 5/8. Height at side of hat after bashing, 5 to 5 1/8. I think this would be in the ballpark in specs. The stiffness will decrease greatly over time and wear. Regards, Fedora
