Alden Width

I am planning to get a pair of Aldens. I know about the half size rule so I figure I need a 10 and 1/2. However I'm not sure about the width. Indygear's site states that D and E are most common but I'm not sure if that would work for me. So to the other Indyfans out there that wear 10 to 11 size Aldens what width worked for you?
